Black Friday Fishing. I deadsticked on BF with my pastor and friend from 1:30 to 4:30 and it was a steady 3 hours of catching. Wind was brutal 20 to 30 mph but we were blessed cuz the fish cooperated at our protected water areas. We did 5 short drifts and all produced. Total was about 50 fish with half being winter fat sandies and half RHSA babies, very healthy 16 inchers now. Wahoo! The flukes out catched the slabs today which was pleasantly surprised for hubbard Water temp 52 degrees. Drift depths were 25 to 30ft. Fish were closer to bottom at 25ft , suspended at mid column in deeper water. Just pay attention to the graph, anticipate the light thump, and ninja set hook! Lol Only took a few pics today cuz I got a new phone and the phone case is not in yet. So mister camera happy took only 20 pics instead of 100

Way to go Todd. That 40 minute bull ride would have turned me back to the ramp.

Nice catch Todd. I need to be out there with you again. Holler at me the next time you're heading out there. Gotta see how you deadsticked so good. I must be doing something wrong. Of course with the hurricane wind I'll wait until it settled.

I got to the ramp at 12:30. The wind really picked up as I saw three boats just came in. One bass boat with two guys were soaked. A pontoon with a large group including one male in a wheelchair. They looked very happy to on land again? Talked to pontoon folks and they did well catfishing But everyone told me to be careful and gave me the looks as I was heading out It's a four-day weekend and I was determined to fish Don't be an addict like me and be careful guys

I think I was loading up when you pulled in.. I did well on the crappie, until the wind got outta hand. Big waves back to Chandlers made it interesting. Glad you got out and back safe, nice catch.

Oh that Fishmaster CC was you? Cool! It's prime time DS now guys with temp at 52. I recalled last winter it was game over when water temp got to 47 degrees for me. Several skunked trips to remind me
