Im heading out to hit the creeks in the morning. Particularly Walnut Creek. If anyone wants to yak it out with me, pm me! But the way, I will be searching for crappie and does anyone know the best way to access the creek?

don't know about walnut creek, I can tell you nothing was in bowman creek north of there 2 weeks ago, and almost nothing in lyn creek as well, but solid reports form mountain creek. southeast side of the lake, easily accessed from Britton Park boat ramp. That is definitely where I would head given reports I got.

Sorry if this is much too late lol, but regardless, maybe it'll help later this weekend

Britton park is closed nov-feb. But I also heard guys are catching them from the bank there.

I went out today but the wind was so ruff that I had a hard time keeping still and the creek was too deep to put a pole down. I gets about 12 feet according to my fish finder. I caught one small throw away crappie and a baby white bass. Nothing to post pictures about. I did notice that a large congregation of fish lit up the radar about 40 to 60 yards after you enter Walnut creek, then on down some more as well. I will have to definitely try again soon! I spent the rest of the time learning the creek. This was my first time out there.
