It's a power plant lake. Just go fishing. Catch fish. Not that hard!

We tried the cove on the south side of the island. We went to the north side for a bit. Then went down to the coves by the power plant. Then went to the coves on the north side of the dam.

Been probably a dozen times?? I am just saying its a hard lake to zero on. Even when its tough you can still catch some fish. Its a small power plant lake that is FULL of bass. Yes it can prob be tough on days but even a tough day is gonna get you bites.

Last few weeks it hasn't been a power plant lake
Reactors are down and temps are dropping fast with no current

Yea I went 2 weeks ago. Was really surprised about those water temps. Those fish probably have never been that cold! Its a great lake and we are lucky to get to fish it. I bet it is lights out when she warms back up!

The lake is a little different from the lakes that we usually fish. Lake worth or Arlington don't have trees and are both shallow. Won't learn if you don't try though.

I usually do best on very steep rocky/brushy banks with a shakey head. LIke others had said I have had luck on black and blue as well. I hope that helps. Good luck!

Thank you sir. We'll probably go back within the next week or so and try again. Hopefully on a day of less wind and warmer water.

Bass eat anything you throw at them there. Love fishing it. Red shad power worms and blue/chartreuse med cranks work best for me.
