Had a friend ask me to make him some jigs for LOP and Fork. Any specific patterns or colors for the East Texas lakes. Thanks

That's a 1/16oz Walleye head. I have some 1/32oz Walleye heads I'm gonna paint up this weekend. I think a 1/16oz on bottom & a 1/32oz on top around the bridges outta be deadly.

IDK a lot about C.C. But Palestine is Tea colored most of the year & more stained the rest of it so if CC is similar, our good combos here outta work there. Right now, Blue/Chartreuse is working

Also, through the Winter, the Purple/Chartreuse w/a blue kicker is often deadly

Then, some excellent colors at various times would be Chartreuse/White (sorry, no picture), several combinations with some Orange

and a "Staple" on most East Texas lakes, Black/Chartreuse

A jig that has done very well on bright, sunny days especially through the Summer...

All the above, I tie & I do sell a few to defer materials costs. Skip can & does tie about anything anyone would want. I'm sorry but my web site is still down but Skip's is fully loaded if you want to look at a wide selection...

Oh yeah, 1/16oz & 1/32oz jigs fished in tandem is deadly under the bridges now. For deeper water, single jigs in 1/16oz or 1/8oz work well.

Hey buddy I just happen to have just such a jig color combo that is awesome! Let me get a picture for you and will post here now.

Okay I found one that has more in it then what I was looking for, but this should work.....Flame Red head/Nylon Black & FL Yellow body/Hot Orange tail. The body will look like it's Black and FL Green, bit it's just the influence of Black that makes it not look Yellow! Same thing happens when you add any dark color like even Blue to FL Yellow!

The 2nd Roadrunner down is the master of more staked water especially when they are shallow. Have used this one a lot and it is great!
