Well boys and girls, this was another great year in Venice Louisiana! The Lake Ray Hubbard crew did very well once again. If you have never had a giant bull redfish pull on your line you are missing out. These fish fight like hybrid striped bass on steroids X 2 . With the scenery of nothing but a pure fishing town, and no tourist around all fisherman it is a remarkable place to spend at least one day of your life to fish this remarkable fishery. This was our second trip so far for this group of guys and it has yet to disappoint. I'm gonna post some pictures of some of the fish that we caught of course this is not all of them. We also met up with JP Greeson and Elizabeth and it was a pleasure to see them and their crew. They fished for a few days and did very well also. It is about a 10 Hour drive pulling the boat but it is so worth it. Thank you to my friends John Nitro, champion Gene, big Spanish Ruben, Dennis and Herb Griffin for a Nother wonderful memorable trip. We didn't get to keep many fish , you are allowed 5 fish from 16-27 inches and only one over 27 inches ... Most all fish we caught were 30-40 inches .

Venice is an amazing fishery and this year was even better than last year.
