So i got out today after having a month of not making it to the water due to football season and work. So i fished for 2 hours with no hits at all. As my name suggest I bass fish the small creeks around fortworth with great success most times. Today I got skunked! I plan on fishing these same creeks all winter and fall so any advice on finding the bass and getting them to bite during these seasons would be greatly appreciated. Thank you my fellow bankers.

From my fishing the past few weeks I'm only catching if I go in the first 2 hours of the day or late evening within an hour or so till dark. I don't fish Ft Worth though but last Sunday evening I caught 6 from 6:00-7:15 on a white buzzbait yet I had gone to the same spot around lunch and had only caught 1 dink in almost 3 hours.

I fished from around 6 pm until it got dark.They were moving every now and then i would see a swirl or small blow up on the top of the water. They were clearly feeding but not real aggressively.I could not figure them out.I did get mad as i was leaving and told them they were no longer freinds of mine.

What have you tried as far as lures?

All sorts of frogs. I know it might be a little late in the year for frogs but they always hit frogs at this spot. Also every soft plastic rig and bait I had.Fished slow,fast all depths als spinners ect. May have just been a bad day.Wentfor a little revenge around 3 today and got three in under an hour they were hitting a weightless craw hard even missed a few good hits.
