According to TPWD Game law booklet they are not considered a game animal nor are they listed as non game so it is not against the law to take them by any means and no bag limit similar to feral hogs you must still have a hunting license to hunt them.

Just one more cast!

Grandpa, have you been to Jefferson lately?

My buddy and I went in to Auntie Skinners one night after fishing LOP, no joke, it looked like auditions for a Jerry Springer show. We saw a WIDE variety of people, one guy had on a leather vest and skin tight pants, no shirt. Looked like one of the Village People. The local law? Had a pistol on each hip.

I have no doubt that some of those folks may have seen bigfoot, heck they may even be related to one.

Did the cops belly overlap his waist band? I have seen that cat before.

Good people watching at that place. Depends on the event to who it brings out. The Freakball or whatever they call it is interesting.

My deer lease is down the road. We head into town many times for dinner.

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

When I moved to Mineola just over a year ago a Bigfoot movie was being filmed in the Mineola Nature Preserve. I was asked if I wanted to get involved in the movie as a Sasquatch. I politely declined as it was in July and hotter than heck. I was not going to put on a fur suit and cavort around in the woods in that heat. That, and I told them that I did not want some 3 toothed redneck shooting me thinking of using my hide as a trophy.
