For the last few months I've been using minnows with a lot of success, and the few times I've tried jigs I've had very little success.so today is dedicated to artificials.for the most part I'll be using some of my personal hand ties and few Slabmesilly jigs I got from cv.also something I've been wanting to try that I'll be giving a shot today is pulling crank baits.all baits will be sprayed with slab slobber . Report to follow (hopefully a good one)

Nothing wrong with minnows! Pros use them ALL the time. I use them ALL the time in case the bite slows down on jigs alone. People who belittle others for using minnows are shallow in my mind. Using jigs is given. Tipping with a minnow is deadly for the fish. Hope you catch some but go back to minnows if you don't get a bite and let us know.

Well I didn't get the results I had hoped far but still managed a few.all fish were caught pulling crank baits 18 fow.orange/white was the color.didnt even get a thump on jigs .but didn't spend that much time with jigs because of the wind.the fish were suspending in open water, every brush pile and lay down were empty that was occupied 3 weeks ago. met a couple off fellow Tff guys.so all in all it was a good day
