OK GUYS HAVE A HUGE DILEMA MY BUDDY JUST BLEW ONE OF HIS MOTORS UP IT IS A 1995 150HP JOHNSON OCEAN RUNNER. WE HAVE A TRIP SCHED TO PORT-A LEAVING THIS FRIDAY DOES ANYONE KNOW OF WHERE WE CAN GET IT FIXED OR FIND A NEW HEAD QUICK? WE CAN EVEN TAKE IT TO GET IT FIXED WHILE WE ARE DOWN THERE IF NEEDED THANKS GUYS!!!

Are you talking a complete new power head? It's not just a quick swap out. (I'm an ex marine mechanic). Even if you can find someone to do the work, get ready to pay a premium...as in might be worth putting a whole new engine on premium...to have it done that quick.

good luck with that. I recall mine took a month to get back and missed one tournament and wasn't able to prefish for another, just showed up blind.

Besides walking in with a large box full of cash to purchase complete new engines you are not going to be taking that rig offshore. It sucks, sorry.

Mine blew on a 2000 60 horse and it was 2200 and took like a 4 weeks

I would trash that ocean runner. I owned two of them they burn 2 times the fuel and I have paid for mine with my fuel savings in one year. Slap a new 150 four stroke mercury on it and call it done.
