What degree rod holders do you prefer for anchoring and casting out?

I have the Pro Dou 1/2 inch you can set your poles straight out for drifting or using the bait clickers / or stand those rods up to set circle hooks / I love mine I have 12 on the boat
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....
