A trip to area retailers this morning was welcome news as reports of the bite picking up here, minnow sales were up with some fish over 2.5 Lbs being caught! Lil Rascals in Black Shad,Baby Shad and Pearl Truse have been the ticket here with a decent bite on 1000 series Slab Bandits in Black Shad and Blue Razor.
My Ma'ma Told Me Fish'in was like a box of Chocolates!

I was out 2 weekends ago and found all I could catch in 10-20ft of water holding against standing timber. All about same size, 14 inches
