Yes, with Tommy Law. Last I heard he was on fish; but the local guide that lives there says he has not done that good on big bass this year.

Tommy is doing stuff on that lake that nobody else is even coming close to. Simply amazing....he's down there now and it is just silly.

Hey Bruce,

Just so you know..... I've had friends go down and get a guide and get less than great results. Those same friends now get Tommy Law and end up going back time and time again.

It seems that if you are going, he's the guide YOU HAVE to get.

Let us know how you do..... I see a trip in my future.

Possibly the best lake ive ever fished. The fish haven't been too conditioned yet.

2006 when the Zetas were in power. Big difference between then and now. Watch your evening news tonight you will likely see much worse on a daily basis. Going into Mexico to fish isn't for everyone that is for sure.

Billy, I know some of you guys go down there, and Tommy has been going for a long time. I also know that the Marina wiped out a bunch of Zetas in Tamaulipas after the David Hartley deal. However, the Zetas still control the states of Tamaulipas and Coahuila, do they not?

Just go and stay over there so you are not traveling each day. Mr. Law will come to the compound at Sugar and pick you up each morning. The hospitality and food is just wonderful.

He will make arrangement for you to leave your vesicle on this side of the boarder in Zapata; take you across on day one and you will come out with him on day 4 or five.

I would not hesitate one minute about taking my boat and truck over there so you can fish a couple of days on your own and a couple of days with Mr. Law.
Then you can follow him over on day one and follow him out on day 4 or 5. This is the safest way to do it. Always follow a guide across and follow someone out.

Tommy wouldn't be going if he or his contacts thought it would jeopardize clients.
