 iPhone bluetooth problem with 2009 Chevy Silverado

Since I upgraded to IOS 8 on my iPhone 4S, bluetooth no longer works with my 2009 Chevy Silverado. Been doing some research and maybe some service bulletin update from GM may help. Other things I've read say it's iPhone IOS 8 related. Haven't taken my truck to a dealer yet, but was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I have a 2012 Expedition and had no problems after the update.

Not gonna get in a Chevy vs Ford discussion, or iPhone vs Samsung or whatever. That said, my wife has a 2014 Escape and my iPhone still bluetooths fine with the Escape, just my my 2009 Silverado.

I just avoid updating to the latest iOS. I updated to iOS 7 when they released 8. Never had any compatibility issues except for the American Airlines app (won't work without the latest OS, so I just live without it even though I do a lot of business travel).

its an ios 8 problem they are still working on a fix for it.
