I just put two new Lowrance units on my boat and need some help. I have an HDS 10 gen 2 on the console and a HDS 9 Touch on the bow. They are both networked and I have selected the correct transducer that each unit has connected to it. The problem that I have is if I don't put the HDS 10 on stand-by or turn it off when I stop and move to the Bow to fish the Touch 9s down scan doesn't work and the unit is using the HDS 10s LSS 2 transducer. It will not use the HDI transducer until I put the HDS 10 in stand-by or turn it off. Is this what it is supposed to do.

If you have the 9 touch at the bow with the HDI transducer 83/200 455/800 simply un-link the units and use them as standalone units. When searching and marking waypoints at the console with the 10 simply toss out a buoy marker and then get on the trolling motor (bow unit) and head to the marker. Once you see the structure mark a waypoint on the 9 touch. Now you are dead on and have better/accurate GPS cords....
