Tomorrow I might just head to White Rock by the Mockingbird overpass and test my luck. Test 1, trying to catch a fish. Test 2, trying to be back home before wife wakes up.

That area has always been tough for me. If you dont seem to be getting any bites. Head over by garland road. Or the other side by the old boat houses. It's getting to the time of year White Rock turns on so good luck.

You will never pass Test2. If you catch a fish you will want to catch more and be late. If you don't catch anything you will do just one more cast over and over and be late also.

She caught me fiddling with my tackle box last night. Do not pas go. But we get to go fishing together later this weekend after the water has had a couple days to cool.

I will report when I get back if they are moving in the fall patterns yet! Thank you. The hard part for tomorrow morning will be keeping tonight's RPG playtest shorter than 1 AM so we can wake up for dawn fishing.

Anywhere to fish out there without dealing with the biking people?? Or time of day. I went out there a few weeks ago around 530 after work (job had me training of 30 and Dilido area , I started with the west side of the lake) and just couldn't deal with all the bikers on the road. I haven't been back since.

At the crack of dawn you are dealing with the packs of runners. By 9am you deal with the bikers. with the cooler temps it will be even more crazier. I fish out there all the time so I guess I'm used to them.

I always take boat out there so that I can stay away from crowds, the only problem I have are the kayakers and board runners going up in the creeks, but since weather is changing I want have to worry about that to much.

I prolly already look scary to them, its when I'm driving around trying to find a spot that looks good to fish thats the problem, they're always in the way, and when I try to pass, more coming the other way.

Alas, the Universe does not want me to go today either. Foot got caught in a bag handle last night and sent me careening into an end table.
