I was looking on their website this evening and noticed the event is now gone. This is the second time that have either removed or downgraded a tournament in Texas. . . Don't see that series lasting much longer cancelling events two days before they are scheduled to be held.

I apologize for the run around. The event was canceled and is now uncanceled! A few people are interested at the last minute so we are going to try and make this happen. Captain's meeting is still at 6:30pm tonight September 12th. Please message me with any questions.

The tournament turned out pretty well! There were some big bass brought in and people got on fish despite the wind yesterday. A big thanks to Mountain Sports for hosting.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Thanks guys... If this comes comes back around in DFW I'm gonna make a point of promoting it more... Nice meeting the other guys, most of whom were coming from Waco, Austin and West Texas. Some very good river bass fishing on the Brazos and Trinity within the 2 hour drive boundary from Mountain Sports. I really pushed it and got lucky... I way underestimated the time it took from my spot on the trinity to Mountain Sports and ended up with a five inch penalty on my 3 fish bag but still was lucky enough to win. Heck best five would've gone 94.5... By far the best day of fishing I've ever had on a tournament. Then again, I was able to fish one of my favorite spots with this format ;-)
