Ray Bob was tough on me today tried cranks, frog, jig and drop shot. Only bite came on drop shot but it hit the weight (and took it off). Heck I couldn't even catch a sand bass today.

Structure and cover 20-25 fow not many bites but good ones are there. Caught about 30 sand bass tonight in front of wolfe. They where on surface as far as you could see. I found out they would still hit a buzz bait without the skirt lol!

Hi Tiltedtitan.
I went for a ride on the motorcycle yesterday morning. at about 8:00 ish in the morning I had to slow down on the shoulder and watch the schools of bass feeding on the top of the water along the dam. they were within 100 yards east of the concrete structure where the water leaves the lake. a very impressive large school of fish. then as I left heading west. there were 2 other schools doing the same thing. all were maybe 75-200 feet from the dam. I was thinking a guy might get lucky and be able to catch something there. but I noticed there were no birds or other activity to watch for . just jumping fish.

Went this morning not so good results, only had 3 bites early before 8:30 AM then no more bites after that. the bites that I did get were 25 to 30 feet deep on soft plastics. good luck

Not many fishing this morning, did get one nice one pitching a Berkeley craw fatty in green pumklm red in about 3.5 to 4.5 feet. Base of the timber.

6:45-11:00 this morning
10 bass, all shallow 2-5 ft
Half on buzz bait before
8:00. Only one of size
3.5 ish. On buzz bait
Also. 8-10 lb channel cat
On square bill. 😳
