Many times those 16" - 18" rats will outfight a midslot, and will startle you with the viciousness of their strikes. It's not how big they are, but how much fun they are. Good show.....

I haven't had a chance to make a coast trip this year, but planning on it once fall hits.
That looks amazing. I'm always inspired by these trips.
I need to get into a mess of tailing reds!
