Brandon I'm just casting and letting drop to the bottom. Then like a slab I smoke it up a few cranks and hit the release button and hold my thumb on the spool and let it bounce back down to the bottom. Do that all the way to the boat. Lot of times they hit it on the fall like a wounded shad. I use the 7-inch five wire tig. I put the short plastic baits on the 4-outside wires and one 4-5 inch plastic in the middle. I use Berkley Power Baits. The hybrids usually hit the big middle bait.

Some but he was also throwing a slab. For some reason they liked my A-rig last night!

Went back out with Terry Tolleson tonight. Massive balls of shad surfacing all over the lake in the dead calm water. Fish would start busting into them on the surface and just as quick run to the next bait ball. It was like one of those all you eat buffet's that Roy goes to! Kind of hard to get them to take your bait with all that competition available to them. But we were patient and it paid off. Here's a few pictures. Wasn't as good as last night but was a great night to be out on the lake. Fishboy "Moon Man!"

I don't follow.
Step 1) target my drift towards a guide boat and when I'm near the target boat..
Step 2) I then proceed to drop my anchor in a non nonchalant manner

Dave I'm always smiling except in fishing pictures. Need to work on that! See you next weekend right?

Frank a follower? naaaah! The fun thing about fishing with Frank is his historical sense of Hubbard. I especially like it when he says, "I've got this feeling, lets move this way 34 feet . . ." and they usually show up. Yesterday evening we were marking lots of bait and fish activity and then it went dead. A bit unusual. It is good to see Hubbard sort of back to her old self.

Dave, come to think of it, you never see Frank smiling when he is catching, he is pretty serious about it.

You can buy the A Rig and Berkley Power Bait at Wal Mart.

Terry,

You are correct! I guess that is why Frank catches so many darn fish. They must know he is not happy catching them so go to his baits more often.

Frank, hope see you this weekend on the water and next.
