Frank when you drag those A-Rigs are you using down riggers or anything or just letting out line? What size A-Rigs.
Thanks
Brandon Brandon I'm just casting and letting drop to the bottom. Then like a slab I smoke it up a few cranks and hit the release button and hold my thumb on the spool and let it bounce back down to the bottom. Do that all the way to the boat. Lot of times they hit it on the fall like a wounded shad. I use the 7-inch five wire tig. I put the short plastic baits on the 4-outside wires and one 4-5 inch plastic in the middle. I use Berkley Power Baits. The hybrids usually hit the big middle bait.

Was Mark throwing an a-rig also? Some but he was also throwing a slab. For some reason they liked my A-rig last night!

I don't follow. Step 1) target my drift towards a guide boat and when I'm near the target boat.. Step 2) I then proceed to drop my anchor in a non nonchalant manner

C'mon Frank, smile a little when you are slaying fish like that. Congratulations on figuring out how to get them to bite and in the boat.

Frank a follower? naaaah! The fun thing about fishing with Frank is his historical sense of Hubbard. I especially like it when he says, "I've got this feeling, lets move this way 34 feet . . ." and they usually show up. Yesterday evening we were marking lots of bait and fish activity and then it went dead. A bit unusual. It is good to see Hubbard sort of back to her old self.
Dave, come to think of it, you never see Frank smiling when he is catching, he is pretty serious about it.
You can buy the A Rig and Berkley Power Bait at Wal Mart.

Terry,
You are correct! I guess that is why Frank catches so many darn fish. They must know he is not happy catching them so go to his baits more often.
Frank, hope see you this weekend on the water and next.
