i went down to my sunfish spot again yesterday and caught some pretty cool fish but this was the coolest one. What i learned was if you want to catch bluegill/sunfish midday while the fish are not hitting top water the best thing to use is a small slow sinking nymph like a BH prince or a damselfly/dragonfly nymph.  If you would like to know what this was caught on here is a picture and a description:  This is a size 12 olive damselfly nymph. like its name it is supposed to mimic damselfly nymphs or naiads which are part of the damselfly life cycle that comes right before they grow wings and begin to fly.

Beautiful fish.  They are a blast to catch on ultra light tackle.  For their size they are a very hard fighting fish.
