None of these are as bad as the fish in the Cabelas fish tank. The bass all seem to have sunken guts and are infested with ich or some other fungal matter.

I once snagged my ex mother-in-law. Does that count? She was about 64 inches and weighed about 225lbs. Hope you were using braid. How did she fight?

He didn't know it was jacked up. I didn't tell him. so you do have a kinder/softer side, contrary to public opinion.

Whoooweee! Thems some yougly fish.
A few things causes this. One poster said an obstruction in the gut, this is a common cause, the fish cannot swallow food.
A fish that has an immune disorder such as Largemouth Bass Herpes Virus can look like the last one above before it dies. That fish is covered in fungus and parasites, but those are secondary to some other issue.
Very old fish about to die can also have this type appearance.
However, a lot of the time its just a lack of food and nothing else. Lots of lakes have these ugly fish and few decent looking ones. If they are starving, even small fish can be very thin and deformed.
I doubt the fist fish posted was just an unrecovered spawner. More likely some other problem as above is the cause. when you only see one like that in a day of fishing and all others appear fat and healthy, its something to do with that particular fish. If they all look that way there is usually a problem with food presence or availability.

That Lake Tyler bass looks like chiggers got a hold of it when the lake was so low, or maybe grass burrs.
