We're looking for any tips or advice on where to go and be looking for largemouth, smallmouth just a one-day trip so would like to maximize our chances any help will be appreciated thank you

Last year about this time, I was whackin em over there on small silver/blue spoons, and rebel crawdaddy crankbaits... I haven't fished there in a long time, but I would try those baits for sure... if I remember right, this is when the shad were spawning over there. I think our best hours were the hour right before sunrise, until about an hour after sunrise.

Also, I was catchin em in the brush pretty much all around roger's park, as well as in the submerged boulder field on the northern side of the dam, all along that shoreline running from that northern corner of the dam, to the where it comes to a point and opens into that first cove there on the northern shore (I hope that explanation makes sense...lol)
