Going to Rayburn for first time. Going with the wife and brother in law mid july. We are staying in tiger creek area for 4 days. Any tips would be great. would like to know where grass areas and some good general places to start. thanks in advance.

Grass isn't hard to find. It's in any cover beginning at Five Fingers going north. There are spots of grass on the south end where you're staying but not an abundance.

Did good on the south end of Toledo bend. No big fish but good numbers over grass and structure.

Right now on Toledo is the perfect time to smash some big ones at night !! Almost any hump you can find that is 6-8 foot on top with 20-30 or even 40 foot water within a few casts is gonna be killer !!!!! Hope this helps !!! Also throw a texas rigged ole monster black and blue or red bug is also a good color !!! Hope you catch your new Personal Best !!! Good luck !

Fish are biting TX Rig worms in Red Bug outside the grass lines in 15'-25' over here on Toledo at night and evening. Daytime can be really good as well, but it's more of the brush pile deal for the most part. Good luck!
