Just wondering what is the weirdest thing that anybody has ever found or know of that was found in a catfish's belly. For me I would have to say a ducks head.

Found a few zebra mussels in some belton blues.

Fishing in a tank I caught about a 5-6 lb channel cat with an almost foot long bullhead in its stomach.

not that weird I guess, but almost all the channels on Texoma have Zebra mussels in their stomachs. electric knife always tells ya...lol

My son killed a cottonmouth by the dock this spring and threw it in the lake , next day we caught several blue cat off the dock, we kept a few , noticed one of the cats stomach was really full and cut it open to what it was feeding on, it was the headless snake my son threw in the lake. Kinda freaky at first sight. He blue was about 3 lbs and the snake about 3 feet

This could get interesting... not a wasteful creature are they?

Not exactly in the stomach, I recently found a dead blue at Texoma with a tail of a big striper sticking out of his mouth. There was close to a foot of tail sticking out and the front dorsal fin was nowhere in sight. I'm guessing 50lb cat, his eyes just got too big for his stomach.

Zebra mussels, caught one at Tawakoni last week that had 11 hot dog pieces in it, and another one that had 6 pieces in it (yes, we were using hot dogs for bait).

Okay, this isn't a catfish story, but I broke off 3 good fish during a big bass tourney. I went to the same spot 7 days later and caught a bass with all 3 of my baits in her belly.

Found one when I caught her and two more when I cleaned her.

Found a Spike it chartreuse pen once in a catfish.
