Ray Roberts, Lake Lewisville, Ray Hubbard, and Grapevine. Those are the only lakes I've noticed.

During the TSA tournament on Tawakoni earlier this year we didn't have a hard time catching shad. We did catch then in 50ft of water which wasnt so much fun.

Threadfins? I'm guessing you caught Gizz's. Gizzards are far more robust than threads.

Scooter we had a few threadfins but the vast majority were Gizzards.

Lake Palestine had a big shad kill. We were out there in early February and there were dead threadfin floating all over that lake.

Lakes are lower and cooler than usual. I have been catching hundreds of threads on Tawakoni.each day. I.don't think the shad kill is quite a significant as some say. The lakes are just fishing differently this year so far.
