I am getting ready to buy a new pair of polarized glasses. I have always been cheap and never bought a good pair. What are you all using and what do you think is the best deal for $100-$200 price range? I am leaning towards Wiley X or Costa. Trying to get ready for next years spawn.

Try them all on first. Everyone's eyes are different and one brand may be better "fit" for your eyes than another. Try and get together with your buddies and go to the water and try their different brands. I was able to get Costa's free and thought they were great. But while on the water one day the guy I was fishing with had a pair of Oakley's. I tried them on and instantly I could fill me eyes adjust to them and I could see so much better in the water. I now wear nothing but Oakley's and pay full price. I talked to an eye doctor about it and he said it was like shoes. Some brands are just better for you than others. Lots of great glasses on the market now. Try several outside and on the water where you will be using them.

Amphibia is good, but Costa Del Mar is BEST!

I use the Bass Pro XPS glasses that cost $20. They are not great but I like the price. If they go over board it's not that big a deal. On the other hand if you trust yourself enough not to loose them then I would go with Costa's without a doubt. Oakley's are not bad either.

I like Ono's as they have readers in them and it sure helps with tieing on lures.

That's some of the best advice I've seen for glasses. Some lenses just work better than others for each person.

Heck, when I do get to sight fish, I'm still sportin' the old folk looking Hobie Sight Master with side shields grin

Costa with the 580g lenses are great. They have so many styles you should be able to find one that fits your face well.

Have the same pair. They are incredible. They are better than oakleys and Wiley's that I have had
