If the water has risen any, I throw a swimjig in any newly flooded cover. If not, I try to find places where runoff is flowing into the lake and throw a swimjig there.

if it summer i just throw frogs and spooks near the flooded shore line and i do great.

After a heavy rain, I look for "running water".
I have a buddy who's a "Running Water" specialist, he's won
more tournaments than I can count when this pattern is available.
