 First 30+ lbs carp of the season

Caught a couple weeks ago, braved high winds, rain and near freezing temps up here, was rewarded within 1/2 hour with this nice 32.5 lbs carp, my first over 30 this season.

They should start spawning up here in the next week or 2, hope to get one more crack at a fatty before they drop their loads

Another fat female on Moday...  They just started spawning up here, so they'll be busy with better things to do than feeding. Will let them go at it and chase some other species, have 6 days up in the woods bass fishing with my kids planned for next week
