Looking for weightless senko and fluke rods. What action, power, & length is needed for each, or can both work with the same rod?

Check out the Falcon Cara Finesse jig rod or the Falcon Cara Weightless worm. I use both and they work great for both applications. The jig rod is a little longer and has a little more backbone. Also good for shaky head too.

St. Crois 6'6" or 6"0" med hvy fast action.
I use mine with a Revo STX and 17# Suffix Siege.
I can toss the weightless Senko or Fluke with a 5/0 hook plenty far with no issue.
My AG Black Max will also do the trick as well with this rod.
This rig really works well when throwing the Senko wacky style.

Powell 683 with a 3/0 Owner J hook or Owner screw lock hook for both baits. Gamakatsu 2/0 round hook with the weed guard and o rings for wacky rigging the 5 inch Senko type bait.

Shimano Crucial M/H is another good option.

That should be 6'7".

CC-5-167S

I use that rod alot but not for Senkos or Flukes. It's a little soft for that application and was designed for open hook baits. Primarily wacky worming. It also works well for small topwaters, yellow magics, baby chugbugs, etc. Square bills, and small spinnerbaits.

Fish that take a T-rigged Senko or Fluke on a long cast are gonna be hard to get a good hook set on with that rod.

I probably fish Senkos and Flukes more than any other baits in the spring and fall. Here's your best 3 Falcons in order of $

Bucoo
BCC-6-1610-$110
Bucoos are a little softer than the Lowriders and Caras. Hence the 6 power as opposed to the 5 power.

Lowrider-$150
LFC-5-1610S

Cara-$199
CC-5-1610S

Hope this helps

I use a Dobyns Champion 703C currently, but prior to this rod I used a Bucoo Micro Lizard Dragger and liked it too. Don't let the ratings on the Lizard Dragger fool you, it fishes a lot softer than you would think.

Get the Cara 1610 as listed by RBO. He's on the money on this topic.

6'10" med fast omen or any brand you want. Powell, falcon, halo, dobyns,Chevrolet, ford. They'll all do the same thing I would get what feels good in your hands.I personally like to have all matching combos with differnt actions of course for various applications.

Or, a 6'6" Falcon Medium, Fast, spinning rod loaded with 15 or 20 lb. braid and a mono or fluoro leader. Nice for skipping under boat docks and tree limbs. I use casting and spinning equally well with flukes and stick baits.

I also use a Dobyn's 703C and love it for soft jerkbaits.
