 Good fishing ponds/creeks in Denton area

Hey guys, lately I have been looking for a good place to go fishing (and catching) in the Denton area. I go to Ray Roberts often and have pretty good luck, but I want a place to fish with some ultralight gear. I have tried the southern ponds of both North and South Lakes Park with no luck. If you have any ideas please speak up!
