This year the Crappie Anglers of Texas (CAT) is proud to announce that it recently awarded a total of $3,000 in cash scholarships to the following exceptional applicants at the May 20, 2014 meeting!
Phoebe Ellis of Arlington, TX received the $1,000 scholarship. Her essay was chosen by the CAT Scholarship Program Committee as the winner of the written essays. She will be attending University of Texas/Arlington majoring in Biology.
Eric Dukes of Stephenville, TX received a $500 scholarship. . He will be attending Tarelton State University in the fall and will be majoring in Wildlife Management and Conservation.
Allison Massey of Wylie, TX received a $500 scholarship. She will be attending Tarelton State University in the fall and will be majoring in Criminal Justice.
Ashley Guntle of Crockett, TX received a $500 scholarship. She will be attending Sam Houston State University for her Bachelor in Nursing and study Phlebotomy.
Madison Waters of Denton, TX received a $500 scholarship. She will be attending Mercyhurst University for Public Health.

Team Reeve is fishing to bring awareness to ovarian cancer. This is a silent killer and everyone needs to know that a woman's yearly exam does not diagnose this cancer. If you feel like helping this cause contact me or give to the NOCC/Team Reeve. Also contact me with questions on symptoms!
