Have the Flow-Rite livewell actuator switch on my 2007 Ranger as pictured below.

I have tried to remove the switch and it seems to be stuck. There is a large side panel on the drivers side of the boat. Removed all of the screws, including the two in the actuator switch. The panel comes loose enough for me to look behind it and I can see that the switch is stuck to a hole in the fiberglass.

I realize there is a cable hooked to the switch, but hoped it would pull away from the fiberglass so I could unhook the cable.

Is there a trick to getting the switch out?

Look in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat for a inspection plate. Remove the plate and check for tie`s their. Should pull out.
