I have been out three times in last week with same results. where are the sandies?? have ended up with lots of small fish caught one here and there. can not find any concentrations except at inlet and they at 6 to 8" long. but black bass fishing is good. last Friday I had a 18LB 5 fish bag. caught about 15 but best 5 went the 18lbs. out again today 5 small sandies and 12 blacks but nothing larger than 2 1/2 lbs on the blacks. on the water at 6:30 am off at 2:00pm windy and hot but had a good time.

I'm going to try and get out to EM 2-3 times this week. I haven't been out in a month so I'm not much help now, but I'll let you know if I find any while I'm bass fishing.

I was out there on Monday the 26th, and Friday the 30th. I checked the mid lake hump near the sail buoy and the humps around the dam. Nada. Fishing sure has been tough, but its always nice to be out on the water. Are yall catching those black bass over on the corner of the sea wall on the south end of the lake? I saw a lot of boats congregating there, but I did not want to impose on an area someone else had already staked out.

I think where you are referencing is the water inlet. very small sand bass there. the blacks have been coming from pitching docks and rocks mostly. the big bag came from mid lake docks. texas rig, spinner bait and small swimbaits have all been producing for me but anything will probably work if you find the fish.
