Just picked up a stradic ci4+ 2500 series from cabela's because they didn't have any 3000's in stock. Weight is same on both. Should I return it for a 3000 or keep the 2500. The 3000 holds more line but holding more line might cause the spool to turn slightly slower. What is everyone's thought on this? I'm trying to convince myself to keep the 2500.

Fish with it and see how you like it. You have 90 days to return it for another one if your not satisfied with it

Keep the 2500! I have one and it's spool is plenty big enough. Great reel by the way.......

Cheers,

George
