Hello folks!

I'm renting a fishing boat at Lake Lavon on Sunday as my dads birthday present. We both never fished on a boat before and I want to ensure he has a good experience. If anyone can give me some tips or pointers on how to locate sandies/hybrids, I would greatly appreciate it..

Which part of the lake is good at this time of the year?

Thanks in advance!

Lavon white bass

1. Glass house cove
2. Point west of the island/cut
3. Whole southern side of point
4. Humps
5. Power plant discharge
6. Laviona park from north ramp to dam
7. Avalon shoreline

Straight from Carey thorn the master of whites on lake lavon.

No, really just the seven spots on the lake to look for them. Not sure if they are biting or not. Haven't been there in awhile.

btw, no hybrids on lavon. just whites and if you're very very lucky, you will catch a striper. if u do catch one, its probably the last one in the lake.
