We don't get this sort of weather very often in North Texas; but with this persistent cloudy/rainy cycling pattern, do you change or alter your strategy, or just go with what you know for this time of year?

My orange spinner bait is a must have when bad weather rolls in late in the afternoon. They tend to group up in the thickest cover you can find. The first thing I do on a lake is find those spots just to be ready when it takes place.

I go to the buzzbait, pop R, or spook. The first pick was Monday, the second was some years back. Both were rainy low pressure days.

It is going to bring some fish shallow. Realize that the lakes are behind this year due to the late and long winter cold fronts into May. Everything is pushed back. This isn't and won't be a typical June. I keep records of fishing trips for future references. I am having to check patterns from a month behind from previous years to keep keyed into where the fish might be.
