well finally the wind let up a bit so fish dog and I went fishing. put in early at twin points. had 21 sandies by 8am but most were to small to make a fishstick so we left them biting to look for larger fish. checked 3 more locations with same results (small fish). so we switched to pitching docks and rocks for blacks. ended up with 12 blacks by noon largest 3 lbs but a slow bite. fish dog said he was hungry so we stopped for lunch. went back to sandbass fishing and finally found some large fish 13 to 15 1/2" with some meat on their bones. kept 13 for the grease. finally called it a day at 3:00. ended up with 84 total fish on the clicker. a great day to be on the water cloudy most of the day and never got hot.
