Hey guys I recently bought Phantom Tackle. I'm looking for color ideas for the PHish Stick and Ring Rascals. We are fixing to welcome them back in to the market. Would be very interested in seeing what you guys think. Thanks Josh

The PHish Stick is a very good lure and I fish it a lot. I learned how good it is and how to fish it on Texoma. I like the white the best. I think a laminate shad and red shad would be very good. Johnny

I was their Texas rep for several years so I know quite a bit about those baits. Exotic & Bluegill were the two best selling colors by far in the Phish Stick.
Rootbeer green glitter was the best seller of the Ringed Rascal. That was an awesome bait. You will need all the variations of watermelon and green pumpkin in this bait. Green pumpkin with a chartreuse tail would be killer as would watermelon red flake with chart tail.

Me and my buddy have fished them a lot! Great bait especially around pads and dirtier water. We have had best success on the black and blue color! I love that bait.

Used to love those baits. See about making them a little softer. The hook up ratio was always dicey.

I helped josh unload a whole truck load of these baits earlier in the week. Lots of excellent colors. I'm excited to try some next time I'm at the lake.

Used to love those baits. See about making them a little softer. The hook up ratio was always dicey. The first ones were too hard. I would take my knife and make a small slit all the way through the bait to help get the hook through it on the hookset and even then I would miss fish occasionally. After they addressed the issue they were perfect. I always threw them on braid with a 5/0 Gammy round bend hook. They tended to ball up on the hookset if you used an EWG. The Baby Phishstick was awesome too. Yum came out with their version calling it a Money Hound but it was too big in diameter. I knew when I saw it that it was too fat. You would need a 9/0 hook and a sledge hammer to get the fish pegged. LOL The smaller one looked pretty good.

Josh,
Looked at your site and didn't see any of the baits you talked about, I sure would like to get some of those ringed rascals in the 7.5" size. When you gonna have them up on the site? I used to buy them back in the day when academy had the worm bar. Bought several hundred from them when the did away with the bar. Since then have not been able to find any worms like them.

Josh, When you get production going a very good color for the Ring Rascal is Sprayed Grass.
