I quit smoking for 15 years then 5 years ago I started dating a woman that smoked. Swore I would never date anyone who smoked but I did and ended up marrying her. Needless to say like a dumb@$$ I started smoking again myself for 5 years. Thankfully we both quit a few months ago. Wasn't too difficult for me but it was definitely a challenge for her.
My dad quit for several years. Started back up when he remarried my mom. Who still smoked.
I quit in 2014 for 33 days. That went out the window when I found out my ex was cheating. I was weak for a brief moment, and that was all it took. I'm working on quiting again. Slowed down but still smoking. I think I'm going to try the vape route but with CBD instead of nicotine. Sounds far fetched, but my thinking is vaping CBD will place the CBD directly on the lungs. Hopefully help clean them up in the same process. But I'm planning on doing it when the dispensaries open up here after the new year. That way I can get better quality CBD. The OTC stuff is alright. But I prefer marijuana based over hemp based. If that fails. I'm going to break my code of not seeing doctors, and go get some Chantix. May as well. I pay for insurance. I should use it every few years.
Health isn't even my motivation. I've been a painter for over 20 years. That **** can kill me just as fast. Money is my motivation. Over $6 a pack here in the rust belt. Two people a pack a day each adds up. Over five grand a year. Mentally I'm using the same approach I used over a decade ago. When I decided I needed to leave the party life behind. I'm making myself hate it. Once it really sets in and it ****es me off enough. I'll just say eff it and quit. Im getting closer every time I buy some and the price has gone up. Or every time I'm in a smoke free environment, and I can smell it on me. The **** stinks. It's a mental game mainly. Make yourself hate it as much as you hate anything you may hate.
Lean six sigma stole a good part of my soul for 5 years, its a beatdown...........hope this makes the recap
Yeah its no joke esp at this level. Lots of statistics and math is not my strong suit but im getting it.
Yes agile and lean are the current buzzwords however after looking at those they're just variants of the original.
Got my green belt some time ago. As I'm currently looking for a new job I'm seeing a lot of employers asking for Six Sigma certifications. When I talked to them about it and tell them I'm a green they just kind of shrug...they're really looking for black belts so that's why I'm taking this time I have to acquire that certification.
Im still with my current employer for 3 more weeks. And while I'm paying out-of-pocket for the classes, I did get a reduced rate as my company is considered a preferred employer and they are not making me use vacation days or anything to attend the trainings so in way I'm getting paid to go.
Blah blah right?? Sorry recap next week fellas.
I took the defensive driving course online on my own dime, once upon a time... is the greenbelt harder than that?
Before I discovered the wire grip, I also used super glue but found it ruined the lure when I wanted to change lures. If I can't find a certain size jig with a certain size hook that only comes with a lead collar, I crush the collar flat and snip it off with wire cutters.
I'm going to Colombia for 12 days in the end of March. I believe we're going to split our time between Medellin and Santa Marta (we'd take a flight from Medellin to Santa Marta). I'm looking to fish for peacock bass or some inland river species as well as fishing on the coast, but I think I'll only have one maybe two full days to commit to fishing in each place. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Bass Pro has a sale on lowrance elite 7 inch with gps, sonar, down scan and side scan including navionics maps. This is also a touchscreen unit. $499 Had the elite 9 for $599. Thye had a sale on the lowrance hook 2 5 inch which has all features above is not a touchscreen and has non navionics maps. $299 Great time to save some major dollars on a finder.
I found a good price on a yak attack transducer arm at Dicks. Could not get much of a price break on the track mounted holder . Found the nocqua 10AH battery for $10 off at the gps store. Do a little searching and you can find some good deals.
Just looked and this is the only Lowrance Elite 7ti I could find. Lowrance Elite-7 Ti2 Fishfinder/Chartplotter with US/Canada Navionics+ and Active Imaging 3-in-1
