Can you fish like anywhere on the docks or just the shores? What bait is working great there? What about the marina in Oak Grove Park? thanks

you can fish off the shore i know for sure , but im not sure about on the docks . i guess you'll just have to go and find out.

There are a few nice little honey holes off the Catfish lane dock in Oakgrove. Have not went over there today, but depending on how much water they let out, you might have to swim to the dock if you are not boating.

If I had to bank fish in Silver lake, i'd spend all my time at the tire barge - not the current break at the enterance to the marina, but the actual tire barge on the shore towards the Northeastern side of the marina next to the ramp.

It's submerged now, but it's a proven place - just check out the number of boats that hit it every weekend.

I doubt you can fish the docks there. I've got a boat in Twin Coves (run by Marinas International) & you have to have a pass-card to get in. I'm pretty sure that Silver Lake is the same way, but I've pulled a few off of that tire barge which should be accessible to the public.

The docks are private, and are locked. Only members of Silverlake can have access to the docks.

Trying to find Catfish Lane but its not labeled in Yahoo/Google Maps :S I can see Oak Groove, just not Catfish lane :P I probably gonna hit that place this weekend if I can, so if you see a 17 year old guy with a 12 year old kid, say hi! lol
