Ive been in San Antonio for 3 weeks now and finally got to go fishing. Put in at 281 and fished down to Rebecca low water crossing. Ddi good caught 8 and got another 3 to the boat. Saw all kinds of fish swimming every where. The trip was a little long. The wife called so i had to stop fishing and paddle for the last hour and ten minutes to get back home. The views where great will take a camera next go round and post some pics. Words cant describe the two large falls and the numerous small ones. It was a great trip.

What were the 8 and 3, white bass?
I've never paddled that section, only the section below the water crossing...it may be worth a look though.
We used to hang out there under the bridge and a little further down stream near the big gravel bar when I was younger...good ol' days!

All bass a mix of large mouth and spotted. no whites. I think the trip from 311 to the low water crossing would be shorter.

Where do you leave your vehicle when you put in at 311 or Rebecca Creek Rd?
