I'll be flying to Houston tonite and would like to fish the piers the next few days. Or even hookup with someone to show us whats goin on. I own a 24' Stamas and fish Lake Erie most of the year and look forward to some SW action. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Well....... we went to Galv pier today.....2 people on the pier. I thought I'd wait till Sun or Mon for more favorable conditions before I throw $$ into renting equipment and bait.

I was there for the last three days, no fishes, no fishermen, no good weather, wait, it was just windy and cold.

Better go Monday since it looks like the weather goes downhill from there the rest of the week.

Well I'm back home in frozen Ohio....came home to several inches of snow.
I had a great time fishing in your great state! I stayed in Missouri City and fished Lake olympia where my bro lives. Caught many crappies, bass and cats. My bro's neighbor and I went out of the Tx's Ciyt dike and fished the jetty's was a little slow but did manage 2 sheephead and a black drum. One monster something that broke off due to his 3yr old line. Gene thank you for your offer, we didn't even try the piers. Next time I come down I'll give you plenty of notice and Wannabitaworm/Sam says a big HELLO! Thanks to all who replied.
Frank
