I took this from the Chris and Jack's angler of the year post and started this one. I could not have thought of a better way to let people know what has happened, and I think any one of us would be lucky to have a friend as close to each of us as what Jack and Steve apparently were.
Guys on another note think good thoughts for Jack, his long time partner before me Steve Bundy passed away last night after a fight with lung cancer. It was on Jack's mind very heavily since Friday night and all week end. I know Steve is no longer miserable but for selfish reasons I hate that he is not with us anymore except for in spirit. Jack was able to get back to the hospital Saturday to see him and talk to him and spend Sunday with him too before he passed on. Anyway think good thoughts for Jack and Steve's family please. Thanks again Chris
I think everyones thought and prayers should go out to the family. I also spoke with Scott Bunday a little bit ago about this very thiing.

Steve was a great guy and someone I am proud to have fished with. He could always put a smile on my face even when the fish were putting it on us. Steve will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family.

I'm deeply sadden to hear this. Steve was a great guy that always had a smile on is face and could always put a smile on other peoples face. He will be missed.
I still remember talking to him this day:
Bunday / Oliver 6.12 5 19.38 $770.00+$155.00+St. Croix rod
He was on cloud nine!
I'll keep him and his family prayers!

Thanks for the kind post Sid and thanks to everyone else. I and Steve's wife (Jane) and family deeply appreciate the kind word/prayers. I could go on and on about Steve, but it would take forever to write. The one thing he could do as well as anything is make me laugh. To all interested, his memorial service is tentatively scheduled Friday, July 20th, 6:30PM at Bethany Lake in Allen, TX. I think there is a park pavilion/building there that will be used/reserved for the services. I or Chris will get official details posted here in the next couple of days.
Thanks again to all.
