!!Without digging!! Was looking for opinions of what to use...
And was wondering if anyone has tried "Sulsol", I believe it's called...It's supposed to work to, and is a sulphor solution of some type...

I use to live up north and we used to get night crawlers out of the ground with electical current. We had a old metal liquid fertalizer thingamajig, can't remeber what the real name is. Any way we would water a area where we thought some worms would be and pushed the rod into the ground about 2' pluged it in and after about 5 minutes the worms would start coming out of the ground.

When I was a kid I used a battery charger. I stuck two clothes hangers in the ground. Attach one clamp from the charger to each clothes hanger, and turn on battery charger. Flower beds always worked best for me. I dont know if alot of people would agree with this way, buts its what an old man taught me when I was young.
You Betcha

At nite you can take a flash light with a red lens and find them. Walk lightly though, if they feel the vibration they are gone!

The battery charger deal will get you a bunch if they are there. That is the way I get some of em.

Stringer has it right. I used to go with my godfather in the Seattle area to the school grounds and use a red light at night. Takes some sneaky dealings to catch them but it works...and a load of fun for kids.
Catchem early!

I will tell you a method that I've seen my uncle use several times & he ALWAYS got worms! He would get 2 sticks of rebar, stick one of them into the ground where you'd think worms should be, then he'd take the other rebar & rub up & down the one sticking into the ground & the vibrations from the two pieces of rebar would make the worms come out of the ground! I hope others have heard of this or seen it done because it does really work!!!
Keep your powder dry & don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!!

My secret recipe is 15-20 squirts of (Gojo-hand cleaner) in a five gallon bucket, fill with water and mix well...Pour over any fresh worm mounds or (worm signs)..And up to the surface they will come, within a minute or less...

Stick one in the ground after putting several knotches in it with a pocket knife and rubbing the other one verically as fast as possible to create vibration. The only theroy i could come up with as why it worked is possibly the worms assosicated vibration with the rain. Anyway nice to know that someone else has heard of that.
