Fished this morning until 10:45. Caught only 5 whites unti 9:00 with 2 dinks. Sun came out at 9:00 and as the water heated so did the fishing. Caught 12 more all being keepers, but let all go due to having to still go to work. Was using a white road runner.

I am getting tired of dealing with people who wade watching the people on the bank and raiding there spot because they can. I was fishing to the left of the steps by the first bend. Was catching them bumping the road runner over the bar there and as soon as it went over the bar they would get it. Basically had some guy "slowly" as in 5 casts work his way towards the bar on the other side of the bank. As soon as he got within 150 ft he made a bee line for where I was casting. I politely asked him to not go there because that was exactly where i was fishing. He did turn around but gave me a dirty look as if I had the nerve. It was fairly obvious what I was doing and where I was casting, but he would have waded out onto that bar and totally shut me down.

As a payment I invited two older gentlemen over to where I was fishing before I left.

Sorry about the rant, but people are so extremely rude. Saw three guys leaving as I left with 20 whites. Just remember to be courteous and respect where people are fishing. By the way saw lots of fish spawning on top.

I know what you mean! Those folks are not fisherman. Most of them could not catch a fish at a pet store. That is why they potlick the rest of us. The sad thing is they will walk right through where the fish are and then not understand why they do not catch anything. They then make this dumb statement "well you caught all the fish in this hole already". Now you have to pack your gear to find a new productive hole, praying they do not follow.
