Unfortunately, my weekend schedule has gotten complicated and as of right now all the tournaments are canceled. I hate to do this, but may try again at some point in the future. I'm really sorry to disappoint anyone.

Hey Jay, glad you got that Rig it is nice!
I decided against power plant lakes for the small craft tournies due to the possibility of heavy fog and lots of big boat traffic this time of year. I might be overcautious on this one, might reconsider it next year. Hope to see you on Athens on March 29!
Jason and I are going to fish the Big Bass Fun Tourney on Welsh on Jan 19th, we're getting a room at Snappy Pappy's again you up for another road trip??

14 foot and less or under 14 foot?
I know what it says just clarifying. Is a 14 foot jon boat allowed?

Yes 14ft is the max for all craft besides canoes and kayaks so a 14ft jon boat would be fine.

May 24 Hubbard City Lakes, Hubbard, TX SL-2pm
There are 5 separate small lakes @ Hubbard. Will contestants be able to choose which one they fish? Or will everyone be fishing out of the same hole?
Or will fisherman be able to jump around from lake to lake?
This looks like a great set-up to take my son to. ( he's 5yrs. old )

You got it, it's sort of like a "mini road runner" format. Fish one lake or fish 'em all. Then we'll meet at the rest area on Hwy 31 for the weigh in, or maybe the tennis courts have not decided yet for sure. Glad some local Hubbard folks are interested! I bet you and your son have a blast on those lakes. The water is so clear, just "fish watching" can be a sport on them in of itself!
