Thank you to all the anglers who have been coming out to fish Georgetown. This week TTZ would like to say thank you with complimentary food and prizes to be given away at weigh-in. Check in will start at 5:00 pm at the Cedar Breaks ramp. Once you register and have your live-wells checked you will be given a chip, then you can proceed to your starting spot. First cast is 5:45 pm. Early casts will result in disqualification. Weigh in will start at 9:15 pm and end by 9:45 pm. Only boats with their chip on the table by 9:15 pm will be allowed to weigh in. The weigh in will close at 9:45PM sharp, you must be in line by 9:45. This will be a best 5 bass tournament. Any combination of largemouth, smallmouth, guadalupe, or spotted bass may be weighed. Lake Georgetown is a slot lake, largemouth between 14-18 inches; can not be kept. We also have a 12 inch; minimum on largemouth bass. All other species must be a minimum of 14 inches. Dead fish will not be weighed.

Quick reminder, the Georgetown Thursday Night Angler of the Year will be awarded free entry into the 2017 TTZ Trail events. The winner of the AOY race will be determined using a points system adding each angler's best 15 tournament scores. The angler with the highest total points will win Georgetown AOY.

The top finishing angler will receive their half of entry fees for one TTZ region and the TTZ Championship in 2018. Total value for 4 events and 1 Championship at $100 per event, comes out to $500.

One rule that we would like to point out regards the slot limit on Lake Georgetown, if you are unfamiliar see below:

5. LIVE FISH / WEIGH IN
A limit of five bass (largemouth, smallmouth, Guadalupe/spotted) may be weighed in per team. No team may have more than the tournament limit (5 bass) in the livewell at any time during the tournament except during the short timeframe of culling a fish.
Culling of dead fish is prohibited.
Dead fish will not be weighed.
Slot limit applies. Large mouth must be between 12″ 14″ or over 18″. All other species ( Small mouth, Guadalupe, or Spotted) must be 14″ or greater.
Weigh in will be at Cedar Breaks boat ramp from 9:15-9:45 pm. Please have your chip on the table by 9:15 and in line with your fish by 9:45 or you will not get to weigh in.
