Itochu is another Toshiba

Itochu uses the pooling of interest accounting method (or it doesn't) to either consolidate (or not) as it sees fit with nary a concern about rules for consolidation.

It looks like accounting shenanigans are going to be frequent in Japan until more firms like Glaucus do their homework

Meeting starts and there are ten minions and the head honcho sitting in the meeting when I am asked how a certain US based Semiconductor manufacture does their 300mm process. They specifically ask for tool sets, processes, recipes, etc. and then you could see the President of 300mm (head honcho) almost have his head explode when I tell them that I cannot divulge that information because I had Signed Non-Disclosure Agreements with the company in question. They became very insistent that I tell and was shocked when I said "Oh, Hell No". The President stormed out of the meeting screaming (I had no clue what he was saying but I do not believe it was favorable to me) with his minions scurrying behind him. They basically showed me the front door and wished me good luck getting back to Tokyo on the train system (about 2 hours and three transfers later). I finally made it back to the New Otani Hotel and had a wonderful 3-day vacation on Toshiba (dumba--es forgot to cancel my hotel tab).

Toshiba can Bite Me!!!!!!
You should've shown them a youtube video that your IT guy could overlay a "confidential" watermark on and you could be living like the Prime Minister in the lap of luxury.
