I am making the announcement that I will be guiding on lake Bastrop and Fayette lake starting as soon as possible. LETS GO FISHING! I've fished several fishing tournaments and spent many hours on these two lakes. I love fishing no matter the species but my primary chase is Largemouth bass. Full day is $250 for the first 5 people.

Well, we fished Fayette today. Not a bad day, mostly dinks. There were a lot of folks on the lake today. We were catching them in about 12 feet of water near some standing timber and in the outlet. The fish in the outlet were holding off the riprap to the east. Water temps were 70 near park prairie and 87-90 in the outlet. If things continue the way they have been its going to be an early spawn this year.

I'll be fishing fayette Tomorrow and Tuesday if you're interested in going let me know asap $250 full day. I'll post results each night.

Good day on the water. This was the biggest one. The GoPro battery ran out so I turned it on just long enough to take this photo. I caught at least 18. I lost count somewhere around there. Most of the fish were 2+lbs. They were caught in 10-12ft of water off some standing timber. The best bait was a 1/2oz black/blue structure jig. I also caught several on a watermelon 1/2oz structure jig.

Well we changed plans. A friend of mine came with me today to cast net tilapia. He brought home 61. I caught one bass. 18mph winds today.
